Sold (1940) Gladstone £95 Brown Rafferty is a Tara Toys

Rafferty is a Tara Toys laughing bear from 1953 He has a partial label on his foot

his nose and mouth have been restitched and he has been given some vintage amber and black glass eyes

He measures 16 inches from ear to paw and is in a fairly well loved condition

He was completely enclosed in Hessian with eyes nose and mouth sewn on the outside and his ears left on the inside with more sewn on top

Owned by one family, he has obviously been very well loved and played with, showing the war wounds of being handled a lot. He has a growler box, but nothing seems to come from it. His coat is mohair.
